Sustainable Website Design: How to Reduce Your Site’s Carbon Footprint
Sustainable website design isn't a niche concern.

Every agency starts client maintenance in roughly the same place: a spreadsheet, a few calendar reminders, and a shared hope that nothing gets missed.
That works for a while. Then a renewal date passes unnoticed, or a client asks what is included in their plan, and someone has to go and check.
We reached that point earlier this year, so we built WincAdmin.
It is our internal system for managing client maintenance plans properly; clear records, clear responsibilities, and less reliance on someone remembering where a detail lives.
There are two parts to it.
The first is a Laravel CRM that holds each client, their maintenance plan, and exactly what is included. The second is a small WordPress plugin installed on client sites. It reports back on updates, uptime, and anything that needs attention, so we can see the real state of a site rather than make assumptions.
We have structured our plans into three tiers: Maintain, Support, and Momentum.
That matters because website maintenance means different things to different clients. Some sites need to remain secure, updated, and online. Others need a team that is actively looking for improvements and helping the site move forward.
Putting those tiers into one system means there is no ambiguity. What a client is paying for and what we are responsible for are always visible, and always aligned.
WincAdmin is not a product we are selling. It is simply a better way for us to run the work behind the scenes.
We built it as we would build a client project: clean, maintainable, and straightforward about what it does.
If you are one of our maintenance clients, this is part of what is quietly looking after your site in the background. When you do not hear from us, it is usually because everything is doing exactly what it should.
It is also part of how we build websites that are designed to evolve, rather than expire: Why the Best Websites Are Built for Change.
